In this story, a fine teapot ends up cracked and stained. The stains even make its tea taste bitter. On top of all of this, it wishes it were something else - like a flower vase. The potter's son tells the teapot what he went through to make it and what his plans were for it. Will this make a difference? The potter's love could get rid of the cracks and stains, but only the teapot can choose to receive it.
